European index futures point to a flat or slightly lower opening of today's cash session for the major stock indices from the Old Continent. This comes after a mixed trading during the Asia-Pacific session earlier today. Cryptocurrencies remain volatile, with Bitcoin climbing to $63,500 before pulling back to $62,500. JPY and AUD are the best performing major currencies, while NZD and EUR lag the most.
Economic calendar for today is packed with noteworthy macro data. Traders will be offered flash CPI readings for February from France, Spain and Germany today, as well as US PCE inflation report for January. Apart from that, CHF and CAD may see some moves on releases of Swiss and Canadian Q4 GDP data. Energy traders will focus on EIA report on natural gas inventories.
