The S&P 500 has been falling heavily in the last few minutes after news emerged that Taiwan decided to fire warning shots at a Chinese drone that was in the vicinity of Taiwan's airspace. Of course, such a situation does not necessarily mean anything, but at the same time it will not lead to an improvement in the situation in the East.
By the way, it is worth noting that there have been a number of statements from bankers indicating a further need for hikes. This also weighs on stocks and oil, which is losing nearly 4% today.
