📊 US100 breaks above 13,000 pts, Netflix reports solid user growth
US100 made a big jump yesterday, recovering most of the losses made during downward correction started January 11. US tech index broke back above 13,000 pts handle and currently trades within a striking distance of its all-time high at around 13,100 pts. One of index' big names - Netflix (NFLX.US) - has reported Q4 earnings yesterday after the session closed. While revenue came in line with expectations ($6.64 billion) and EPS was slightly weaker than expected ($1.19 vs exp $1.36), the company reported a solid user growth. Netflix added 8.5 million new subscribers in Q4 2020 (exp. +6.6 million) and 37 million users throughout the whole 2020. Share price of the company jumped over 10% in after-hours trading.
US100 recovered a big part of recent losses yesterday and has jumped above the 13,000 pts mark. The index trades around 0.25% below its all-time high in the 13,100 pts area. Source: xStation5
