Wall Street earnings season for Q3 2021 is coming to an end. While companies will continue to report earnings throughout December, those that do usually have fiscal periods not aligned with calendar quarters (i.e August-October). Note that this week is a bit shorter as US stock markets will be closed on Thanksgiving (Thursday) and the session will end earlier the day after (Friday). As a result, earnings that will be announced this week will in most cases be announced on Monday to Wednesday.
A total of 5 Nasdaq-100 and 12 S&P 500 members will report earnings this week. There will be no reports from Dow Jones members. Zoom Video Communications (ZM.US) will report Q3 earnings today after the close of the Wall Street session. The company has won investors' appeal during the pandemic as demand for its software skyrocketed as employees were advised to work remotely. Investors will also be offered reports from some well-known tech companies, like Dell (DELL.US) or Hewlett-Packard (HPQ.US).
