The price of gold has reached the highest levels since April 2018 around 1355 USD per ounce, mainly due to rising tensions in the Middle East, weaker data from China and despite the stronger dollar. The Greenback gains before retail sales release at 01:30 pm BST. It is expected to improve in May compared to the decrease in April.
