Early close on Wall Street and some commodity markets
Major indices from the Western Europe are seen opening flat as thin liquidity conditions continue. There will be a Wall Street session today but it will be a shorter one. The US stock market will open at 2:30 pm GMT and close at 6:00 pm GMT. Trading will also end sooner on precious metals (GOLD, SILVER, PLATINUM and PALLADIUM), agriculture goods (CORN, SOYBEAN, WHEAT and COTTON) as well as oil market (OIL and OIL.WTI).
Economic calendar today is light with just a few releases scheduled for early European morning. However, neither of these tend to have a major impact on the markets.
