European markets seen opening slightly higher

New Fed Chair still not announced

Earnings report from Zoom Video Communications
Futures markets point to a slightly higher opening of today's European cash session. As it is usually the case on Mondays, the economic calendar is light. Investors will be offered existing home sales data from the United States but these rarely move the markets. A point to note is that this week will be a bit shorter due to Thanksgiving in the United States. Wall Street will be shut for trading on Thursday while session on Friday will be subject to an early close. However, this does not mean there will be no action. White House is expected to announce a new Fed Chair ahead of Thanksgiving. President Biden will deliver a speech tomorrow on the economy and inflation, and it could be a good opportunity to make a Fed Chair announcement.
