Intel and Coca-Cola among earnings reporters
Global markets remain under pressure amid new record Covid-19 numbers and lack of breakthrough in Brexit and US stimulus talks. European stocks are seen opening lower and today's calendar does not offer any major releases that could trigger a spike in volatility. However, there will be one very closely watched event held overnight - the final US presidential debate. Donald Trump will face Joe Biden at 2:00 am BST. While the Debate Commission decided to mute candidates' microphones when it is not their turn to speak, it may be not enough to ensure calm during debate. Among topics discussed one can find Covid-19 response, American families, race equality, climate change and national security.
