European index futures point to a higher opening of the session on the Old Continent. This comes after a relatively good session in Asia-Pacific, with the Nikkei up 0.25%, the S&P/ASX 200 gaining 0.57% and the Hang Seng adding over 0.78%.
Overall, today's session will focus primarily on PMI data readings. Moreover, investors will learn about Canadian retail sales data and US new home sales. At the beginning of the session, the most volatile instruments are: (FX market) JPY and AUD (ups) CHF and CAD (downs); (commodities) SILVER and CORN (ups) SOYABEAN and WTI (downs).
