ECB President and BoC Chairman scheduled to speak
Global stock markets seem to be recovering from yesterday's sell-off. European futures point to a higher opening of today's cash session. Nevertheless, hints in FOMC minutes pointing to potential taper discussions during upcoming meetings may keep investors nervous. Cryptocurrencies remain volatile.
There are no major market moving readings scheduled for today. US jobless claims will be released in the early afternoon but markets no longer move on this release as they used to. Apart from that, investors will get to hear from ECB President Lagarde and BoC Chairman Macklem in the afternoon.
