US presidential elections are yet to be called. Biden's win is looking increasingly likely but we should get a clearer picture after results from Georgia and Nevada are announced (probably later today). However, there is also another important event scheduled for today that may have been overlooked by the market amid election week hype - FOMC decision meeting. US central bank is expected to leave rates unchanged and may refrain from taking any other significant policy actions in such a short time after US elections. December's meeting looks like a more probable date for potential policy changes.
