Futures markets point to a flat opening of the European cash session today, in spite of downbeat moods seen during the Asian trading hours. There are just a few readings scheduled for release today but they are all of note. Flash inflation data from Spain and Germany will be closely watched as both are expected to show stabilization. API report in the evening may trigger some short-term volatility on the oil market. Last but not least, there are 3 central bankers speeches scheduled, including a speech from ECB President Lagarde at Brussels Economic Forum 2021 at 2:40 pm BST.
