Japan to release preliminary PMIs for March
Economic calendar for Monday is almost empty. Wholesale trade sales data from Canada for January is the only print scheduled for release but it should not have much of an impact on prices. Flash PMIs from Japan will be released overnight and they will offer details on the damage caused by the coronavirus outbreak. Markets’ focus will be on coronavirus spread and response to it. The US Senate failed to agree on a relief package but Republicans and Democrats continue to negotiate and some related headlines are likely to surface in the afternoon.
