One of the more important data was already published at 4:00 am BST - concerning Foreign Trade in China. In line with experts expectations, China's exports increased by a significant 8.5% YoY, while imports decreased by 7.9% YoY, resulting in a trade surplus of USD 90.21 billion.
Also today at 01:00 am BST, the Governor of the Bank of Japan gave a speech. Ueda stated that if the inflation target is achieved in a sustainable and stable manner, the BoJ will end the Yield Curve Control (YCC) program and reduce its balance sheet.
