- European indices set for slightly higher opening
- ECB minutes release at 12:30 pm BST
- US jobless claims at 1:30 pm BST
Futures markets point to a higher opening of the European cash session today with DAX futures trading around 100 points above yesterday's cash close. Precious metals are trying to recover from recent drop, while the oil rally has taken a pause. AUD and NZD are the best performing major currencies. Cryptocurrencies trade higher.
Investors will be offered ECB minutes release today at 12:30 pm BST which may trigger some moves on the market. Apart from ECB minutes, the calendar today is rather light and other release schedules, like euro area retail sales or US jobless claims, should not have big of an impact on the markets and asset prices as investors are waiting for tomorrow’s NFP report.
