Speeches from ECB members
European stock markets are set for a mixed opening with DAX futures hinting at minor bullish gap and Eurostoxx futures pointing to a slightly lower start of cash trading. Liquidity conditions may be slightly thinner today as the United States is observing a partial holiday. There will be a stock market session on Wall Street but bond markets will remain shut. Regular US data releases, like for example a DOE report, are delayed until tomorrow. As a result, speeches from central bankers are the only noteworthy points in today's calendar.
