Speeches from Fed and BoE members
Futures market point to a flat opening of today's European session following a mixed Asian session. Cryptocurrency markets took a hit over the weekend when Musk suggested Tesla may have sold its Bitcoin holdings. However, Bitcoin jumped shortly after 7:00 am BST today after Tesla CEO denied selling cryptocurrency holdings.
There are a few readings scheduled for release today but neither of them tends to have a major impact on the markets. A range of Fed and BoE speakers may provide some volatility on the FX markets in the afternoon.
