- Despite worse sentiment in Asia, futures point to higher opening in Europe

Friday's trading on Wall Street ended in mixed sentiment. The Nasdaq technology index was the only benchmark to record any intraday gains, nevertheless they did not exceed 0.15%.
The very weak sentiment from Friday continued today in APAC markets as well, with Japan's Nikkei losing 2.05% and Korea's KOSPI down 0.41%. The Hang Seng is doing marginally better today, but the better sentiment here is offset by declines in mainland Chinese markets.
