Biden meets market regulators
European stock markets are seen opening lower following a downbeat Asian session. While today's economic calendar looks empty, there actually may be some action in the afternoon. ECB President Lagarde is scheduled to speak twice in the afternoon (1:30 pm and 3:15 pm BST) and investors will also be offered speeches from 3 Fed members. Bullard's speech at 2:30 pm BST may be especially interesting as it was his hawkish remarks that sparked market sell-off on Friday. Last but not least, US President Biden is set to meet with market regulators at 2:45 pm BST but the agenda of the meeting is not known yet.
9:00 am BST - Poland, industrial production for May. Expected: 29% YoY. Previous: 44.5% YoY
