ADP report expected to show 500k jobs gain
European index futures point to a higher opening of today's stock market session on the Old Continent. Concerns over Omicron impact eased slightly during the Asian session. Moreover, Israeli Health Minister said that there is early evidence that vaccine booster shots may protect against a new coronavirus variant.
European countries will release revised manufacturing PMI data for November throughout the morning. However, PMI revisions tend to have a small impact on the markets. Things will get more interesting in the afternoon with the ADP employment report release at 1:15 pm GMT. Market expects an addition of 500k jobs. US manufacturing ISM at 3:00 pm GMT is expected to show a small improvement. Last but not least, Fed Chair Powell will testify before House Committee on Financial Services. Text of testimony will be the same as yesterday and given comments made by Powell on Tuesday, another surprising remarks are not expected
