European indices plunged on persisting lockdown fears
Global stock market futures traded higher during Asian session but things changed after the opening of the European markets. Indices plunged as coronavirus cases continue to spike and restrictions are being tightened. Top level lockdowns are expected to be imposed in another 4 UK cities today. DE30 quickly erased gains and plunged towards monthly lows in the 12,550 pts area. German index trades 1.3% lower on the day.
