Risk-off sentiment returned to the markets after the Jerusalem Post reported, that according to Ukrainian military and civil servants, Belarus forces may start their offensive even today. Earlier the Ukrainian authorities informed that Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian air force to provoke an air raid on the borders of Belarus and Ukraine and Lukaszenko to prepare the Belarusian armed forces for the offensive. Today, the leaders of both regimes met in Moscow and talked about the "situation in the region and in Ukraine" and "economic cooperation under the pressure of sanctions''.
US100 erased early gains and broke below local support at 13540 pts, following the news. If current sentiment prevails, the downward move may accelerate towards support at 13160, which is marked by a lower limit of the 1:1 structure and previous price reactions. Source: xStation5
