Bitcoin reaches 2-week low below $33,000
Cryptocurrencies continue to slide today. Bitcoin dropped below $33,000 to a fresh 2-week low. Ethereum tested the $2,500 area while Ripple dipped below $0,85. The United States confirmed that Joe Biden will discuss cryptocurrencies and their role in ransomware attacks during the upcoming meeting with G7 leaders this weekend. Cryptos traded under pressure yesterday after it was reported that the United States managed to recover some Bitcoins paid as ransom in a pipeline cyberattack, suggesting that the coin are not that anonymous after all.
BITCOIN broke below the lower limit of recent short-term trading range ($34,000-40,000). The next support zone to watch can be found below $30,000. Source: xStation5
