- European indices set for lower opening
- Conference Board consumer confidence index for June
- Canadian CPI inflation report for May
European index futures point to a lower opening of today's cash session on the Old Continent, with DAX futures trading over 0.5% below yesterday's cash closing levels. This comes in spite of a rather upbeat trading during Asia-Pacific session, during which majority of indices from region gained. AUD and JPY are the best performing major currencies, while USD lags the most
Econmic calendar for today includes some interesting releases. Traders will be offered second-tier data during the European morning hours, like revised Spanish GDP report or Polish unemployment rate data. Things get more interesting in the afternoon, however, with release of Canadian CPI inflation data for May and Conference Board consumer confidence index for June. There are also some speeches from ECB and Fed members scheduled.
