The last trading session on the Old Continent this week brings better investor sentiment. At 1:30 p.m. BST, investors will learn the retail sales data reading, and at 3 p.m. BST the UoM sentiment.

  • Deutsche Bank (DBK.DE) is gaining today, supported by better results from major banks in the US. The bank's shares are currently gaining more than 2.61%.

  • Bayer (BAYN.DE) shares are under supply pressure today. Bayer is challenging a U.S. court ruling on claims of damage caused by PCBs, a substance produced by Monsanto. The claims amount to $275 million.

  • FlatexDEGIRO (FTK.DE) shares downgraded to "hold" by Deutsche Bank. Target price at 11 euros.
