US new home sales data for May was released today at 3:00 pm BST. Report was expected to show new home sales at 633k, what would mark a 0.2% month-over-month decline.
Actual report turned out to be a disappointment - report showed an over 10% month-over month decline, with new home sales dropping to 619k. However, such a deep MoM was to a huge extent result of a big upward revision to April's data, from 634k to 698k.
