BREAKING: German GfK consumer sentiments weaker than expected. EURGBP loses

German GfK Consumer Sentiment: -24.5 (Forecast -22.5, Previous -24.7)

German consumers sentiments unexpectedly weakened despite higher market expectations. At the time, the UK macro readings came in much higher than anticipated, with retail sales surging 2.1% YoY vs 0.6% exp.
