Activision Blizzard, Inc (ATVI.US) has released its Q3'22 results.

Quarterly earnings per share (EPS) came in at $0.68 per share, beating the consensus published by Zacks by 33.33% at $0.51 per share. This compares with earnings of $0.72 per share a year ago. The figures are adjusted for one-time events.

A quarter ago, the company was expected to post earnings of $0.46 per share, versus actual earnings of $0.49, 6.52% above consensus.

The company has exceeded consensus EPS estimates twice in the past four quarters.

Activision Blizzard, Inc, which is part of the Zacks Toys - Games - Hobbies business, reported revenue of $1.83 billion for the quarter ended September 2022, beating the Zacks consensus by 7.38%. That compares with revenue of $1.88 billion a year earlier. The company has beaten consensus revenue estimates twice in the past four quarters.

Since the beginning of the year, Activision Blizzard, Inc. shares have gained about 8.2%, compared to the S&P 500's -20.9% decline.
